　　继续延续上一季的剧情，原来穆德受了骗，及时发觉错误后和史考莉串通好来骗政府高层，以潜入一个“作为一个普通FBI特别探员不该进入的地方”搜集需要的资料。本季发展越来越精彩，一些没有被完全改造的混血外星人联合起来抵抗殖民阴谋。史考莉被绑架时子宫被移除，但今年却出现了她的孩子——艾蜜莉。今年制作小组甚至找了两位知名科幻小说家操笔，客串写出两集剧本。另外今年也有一集喜剧。整出X档案为了配合电影的上映，加入了一些角色及内容，“辛迪加”组织的阴谋越来越明显，穆德再一次接近事实的真相。穆德前女友的出现也对穆德与史考莉间的关系做出重大考验。该季结束于吸烟人烧毁了所有X档案卷宗。

　　《台湾X档桉》（英语：S.S.P.T）2022年中国电视公司八点档连续剧由刘书宏、杨雅筑、王上菲、朱宇谋、张瀚元、优妮领衔主演。本剧于2021年12月22日举行开镜仪式。2022年8月16日举行卡司发布会。中视主频于9月14日首播，中天娱乐台则9月15日播出，该剧演员也为这部戏练习拳脚功夫，台湾OTT由LiTV 线上影视同步跟播上架。本剧以真人真事改编，单元连续形式播出，不同于一般的刑侦剧，带有玄幻、不可思议的元素。

　　民国初年巡捕萧健，一个梦想成为上海第一神探的小子，在一起连环谜案调查过程中，无意间触及到了他们所谓的管控事件，莫名的成为了特调局的一员，经历了一系列惊险刺激、离奇悬疑的事件，接任了“破军”的代号，成为了一个默默无闻的守护者。

　　德瑞克（爱德华•诺顿 Edward Norton 饰）的父亲在他很小的时候就被一名黑人毒贩射杀，从此给他幼小的心灵埋下了仇恨的种子。原来德瑞克功课很好，是老师眼中的好学生。但自从父亲遇难后，他就将一切心机都放在了对付有色人种上面。他积极组织起一帮白人青年混混，到处和有色人种对着干。一次，他射杀了两名黑人，因此入狱。　　入狱后，德瑞克加入了一伙新纳粹的白人。后来，因工作关系他和一名黑人成了好友，他开始反思自己的过去。当他意欲脱离狱中新纳粹组织时，遭到了拳打脚踢。德瑞克出狱后，决心和以前自己组织的帮会脱离关系，带着弟弟远走他乡开始新的生活。

　　Mulder在医院被Fowley监管着。他想办法请来了Skinner和Kritschgau来帮忙，他们了解到Mulder拥有了CIA一直在研究的读心术。Scully在象牙海岸寻找治愈Mulder的办法。Mulder的病情加重了。
